| Description | This is amino acids 101 to 120 fragment of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG), one of the major MOG B-cell epitopes in transgenic mice. MOG is a potential target antigen of the central nervous system known to induce autoreactive T cell response and demyelinating anti-MOG antibodies in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. Studies demonstrated that a quantitatively minor myelin protein, MOG, is also strongly encephalogenic in mice, rats, marmosets, and rhesus monkeys, which is highly relevant to MS. |
